Things Men Need to Know Before Buying Perfume

There are two major reasons everyone should have a signature fragrance (even if you occasionally stray from it): First, wearing one fragrance greatly simplifies getting dressed in the morning or for a night out, because you don’t have to match your scent to your outfit or your mood. Second, the right scent can attract women. Finding your signature fragrance can be a bit of an art, but we’re here to show you the ropes, so read on to learn all about how to find the scent that will become a part of your signature style.

Know your fragrance family

It will be much easier to find the fragrance destined to become your signature if you develop an understanding of which scents appeal to you. The traditional classification system for fragrances includes florals (which are dominated by one or more flowers), amber fragrances (which are both sweet and exotic) and woody fragrances (which are typified by sandalwood and cedar notes).
Honey and tobacco scents fall into the leather family, while bergamot and labdanum are found in the chypre category, and herbaceous fougere scents are composed using lavender, coumarone and oak moss. Modern fragrance families include citrus-based scents, aquatic scents (which are clean and unisex) and green scents (which are light and typified by notes like grass or cucumber).

Let your personality guide your nose

Remember that the fragrance you settle on will represent you, so choosing a scent that reflects your personality is important.
- If you have a determined nature coupled with a sophisticated yet mysterious allure, select a musky, amber-based scent.- Charismatic guys who are always chasing their next adventure should invest in a woody concoction.- Clean-cut, sporty types will feel most comfortable with a smell that’s as energetic and enthusiastic as they are, so seek out fresh and invigorating citrus, green or aquatic fragrances and reapply them throughout the day for renewed vigor.- If you tend toward the romantic side, try a fragrance with florals.- Dominant, ambitious men who love being in control will send a powerful message with a heady fougere cologne.
Choosing a suitable perfume may be challenging for most of starters,  TOP 10 PERFUMES FOR MEN IN 2015 may be a great start.
Work with your body chemistry
You’ll likely have to take more than one trip to the cologne counter to find the fragrance that’s right for you. And while we’re not saying that making multiple visits to the mall all in the name of hunting down a fragrance won’t be a bit of a tedious process, trust us that your effort will be worth it when you finally find the cologne that makes you smell irresistible.
Don’t sniff more than three scents in one session and put something woolly, like a scarf, close to your nose to inhale between smells so that you cleanse your nasal palette. In the end, the cologne that works best with your own natural body odor is not the one that you’re most attracted to right out of the bottle, but the one that still smells amazing after it’s spent the better part of the day on your skin.

Green Tea Face Mask

Green tea is not only to drink, but also to be used in face mask do it yourself. This unique ingredient is able to make it brighter and more elastic skin, eliminating redness and swelling of the face.

The green tea face mask also helps to reduce enlarged pores and fight inflammation of the epidermis, especially when applied cold on the face. Here you discover how to achieve it yourself.
Make A Homemade Green Tea Face Mask

Ingredients needed:
One fresh egg
Fresh honey
Lemon juice
Green Tea Powder
Gather your ingredients.
You probably already have the egg, lemon juice, and fresh honey in your refrigerator. Green Tea powder is a form of powdered green tea ground from the highest quality Japanese green tea leaves and is the form of green tea used in the Japanese green tea ceremony.
You can also use green tea powder to create a variety of other green tea recipes including green tea ice cream, smoothies, and other green tea skin care products.
Mix the ingredients.
Break your fresh egg and place it into a glass container. Add three teaspoons matcha powdered green tea to the bowl along with three drops of lemon juice. Stir the ingredients well with a spoon. Slowly add honey to the mixture to form a thick paste.
How to use your homemade green tea mask
Clean your skin lightly with a mild soap or cream based cleanser before using.
Apply the green tea mask to your face using your fingers. Cover all areas of your face with the exception of the area right underneath your eyelids.
Leave it on for fifteen minutes before rinsing the mask off with cold water. Apply a light moisturizing cream after rinsing.

The oils in your homemade green tea face cream make this cream very moisturizing. If you have oily skin, avoid using this cream in oilier areas, particularly if you're prone to breakouts. Most people who use this cream have no worsening of their breakouts even if they're prone to acne.
Apply it to your face once or twice a day, concentrating on the dry areas around your eyes and cheeks. After a week, your skin should feel softer and you should notice fine lines looking less pronounced. Even though green tea creams are thought to offer some sun protection, be sure to wear your sunscreen anyway.
Enjoy your new green tea face mask cream!

Tips For Sensitive Skin

Caring for sensitive skin is a pain in the neck. For whatever reason, having sensitive skin means that the epidermis, the layer of dead cells and glands that forms a protective barrier between your dermis and the outside world, has been damaged. There are tons of potential factors that contribute to sensitive skin. You may have inherited it from your parents. It may be a problem in your diet or fluid intake (drink more water and eat more veggies!). Or, the issue could be environmental -- there are probably a lot more cases of dry skin in the plains of Mongolia than in the swamps of Florida. People with sensitive skin are more vulnerable to acne, rosacea, eczema and contact allergens, not to mention all the stinging and itchy dryness that accompany the condition. In a lot of cases, sensitive skin is something you'll have to deal with your whole life, but that doesn't mean there aren't proper practices to alleviate the problem. Here are tips for cleansing sensitiveskin.

1. Choose Cosmetics Carefully:

Always choose cosmetic products which are “Fragrance free” because most of the cosmetics with fragrance may react on your sensitive skin to create problems. It is much better if you choose products labeled “No artificial colors”.

 2. Use Products Carefully:
Never test on new products, especially before an outing or a party. They may worsen your skin condition and spoil the whole looks. Always go for products that you have experienced before or the ones your dermatologist prescribe.

3. Use Mild Cleansing Agents:

Avoid using soaps and face washes that contain harsh chemicals and preservatives as they may dry and damage your sensitive skin. Go for mild hypoallergenic cleaners instead.

4. Skin test for sensitive skin
Like I mentioned above, it is very important to have a skin test done before using a new product on your face or trying a new brand of cosmetic altogether. Just put a small amount on your skin, not the face, for 48 hours to see any skin reaction.

5. Moisturize your skin:
Having a healthy skin care regime is very important for all skin types, especially the sensitive skin types that requires water to be locked in to prevent it from drying. Use a moisturizer that suits your skin, preferably organic.  Many cosmetic companies have come out with special moisturizing creams specially made for sensitive skin. Try one of them to get good results.

6. Check what you eat:
This is something that you’d ready in every post talking about clear and radiant skin. It is very important to check your diet. Healthy eating habits flush out toxins and give you glowing skin. Drink lots of water and fresh juices to keep your skin hydrated. This is the most important of beauty tips for sensitive skin. Some foods may react adversely on your skin and increase the sensitivity. Analyze and avoid them.

7. Take care of your eyes:

Skin around the eyes is very sensitive compared to the rest of the face. Therefore, it becomes even more important that you use good quality eye cream and cleansers every night before going to sleep.

8. External factors for sensitive skin:

It’s not just what you’re eating, some external factors such as smoking, stress, lack of sleep or excessive pollution can cause sensitive skin to flare up with rashes and may also cause even bigger skin problems.

Mistakes In Caring Oily Skin

People with oily skin types face a host of challenges especially during their teenage years and early 20s. However, you may continue having skin concerns even when you are older. This happen when the estrogen levels drop and the androgen hormone triggers production of more oil by the sebaceous glad. That’s why you will find postmenopausal women having this skin types, with large pores. Since it is not possible to prevent your skin from producing oil, there are certain mistakes you should avoid when taking care of your skin.

Using a Drying Cleanser
Even with the proper amount of moisturizer, your skin can still get too dry because of ingredients in your facial cleanser. Using cleansers with sulfates is definitely one of the biggest skin care mistakes to avoid for oily skin. They’re dangerous chemicals that will have a harsh drying effect effect. Instead, opt for sulfate-free cleansers, that use ingredients like sodium lauryl oat amino acids.
Using magic solutions
Some people go to the extent of looking for magic or instant solutions to prevent production of oil. Unfortunately, there is no single skincare product that can permanently stop the natural production of oil from your skin. It’s your skin and you can’t command it what to or not to do. Instead of switching from one product to another in quest for one that will change your skin, use blotting papers or tissues to create less shine. In addition, you can try dusting using a mattifying powder to control the shine.

Focusing On Your Pores Too Much
Clogged pores lead to more sebum production and blackheads, but using too much toner or pore strips is also one of the major skin care mistakes to avoid for oily skin. By using pore strips on a regular basis, you’re removing too much sebum and encouraging your skin to produce a lot more to make it up. You can also end up with bigger looking pores.
Over-Rinsing with Water
Too much water can be bad for your complexion. While dry skin doesn’t really need water at all, oily skin can usually take up to two rinser when you’re cleaning it. If you regularly rinse your face more than that, you’ll mess with the balance of oils in your skin and the sebaceous glands can go into overdrive.
Lack of Relaxation
This can be hard to believe, but lack of adequate relaxation or a stressful life can up production of oil. This is because stress and lack of relaxation increases production of oil by the sebaceous glands due to increased levels of cortisol. Since it is almost impossible to avoid stress at all times, looking for convenient relaxation techniques can go a long way in managing oil production. You can try various relaxation methods like taking a hot bath, taking deep breaths, meditation, or yoga especially when you are faced with a stressful moment. With the help of a proper skincare regimen and acceptance, it is possible to keep your oily skin under control.
Avoiding All Oils All the Time
While the right products for your skin type are usually oil-free, flying is definitely one of the times when you need a little oil. Air gets very dry on airplanes, so applying a few drop of skin oil will keep your skin moisture locked. Without it, you might end up with very greasy skin that you constantly have to blot.
Failure to treat acne
This is a common mistake that people with oily skin make by failure to use acne treatments. These medications are specially formulated to control and prevent outbreaks. Look for products containing benzoyl peroxide which eliminate bacteria that build up on your skin causing acne. Also, apply acne creams sulfur, salicylic acid or resorcinol to unclog your pores. These are designed to be used after the appearance of acne blemishes on your skin to speed up the healing process. If you chose to buy over-the-counter acne treatment products, ensure that you follow manufacturer’s instruction carefully.
